Delivery & Setup

From our warehouse to your home, our experienced delivery team handles your furniture with care every step of the way. We don't just deliver—we place and set up your new furniture, ensure you're satisfied with its placement, and remove all packaging before we leave.

Smitty's proudly delivers throughout Southwestern Ontario, serving customers within a wide area of our Barrie, Hanover, and Kitchener showrooms. Contact our sales team to confirm delivery availability for your postal code.

Please note that we do not ship outside of Ontario.

Mattress Removal Service

For customers requiring mattress removal, a removal fee will be added to your new mattress purchase. During delivery, the Smitty's team will place your existing mattress into the protective bag from your new mattress before removing it from your home for proper disposal or recycling.

There is no need to purchase a separate mattress bag—we will provide everything required as part of the removal process. To ensure a smooth pickup, please have all bedding and mattress accessories removed prior to our arrival.

If you would like your existing mattress removed, please let your salesperson know at the time of purchase so arrangements can be made in advance.

Appliance Delivery

Our delivery team will place your new appliance as close to its final location as possible and remove all packaging materials, shipping bolts, and packing strips.

For safety reasons, Smitty's delivery personnel do not install, connect, or disconnect appliances from water, gas, or electrical services. We also do not install anti-tip brackets or stack washers and dryers when drilling is required. These services should be completed by a qualified installer.

Appliance Removals

Appliance removal is available within our Hanover delivery area only and is offered on a one-for-one basis at the time of delivery. Additional charges apply, and removal service must be arranged at the time of purchase.

For us to remove your appliance, it must be disconnected, drained (where applicable), reasonably clean, and easily accessible. A damage waiver must also be signed prior to removal.

The safety of our team is important to us. Smitty's reserves the right to decline removal if conditions are deemed unsafe at the time of delivery. In these cases, the removal fee will be refunded.

Outdoor Appliance Delivery

Smitty's will assemble your BBQ free of charge prior to delivery. Standard delivery rates apply to assembled gas and pellet BBQs.

Free delivery is available for BBQs that remain in their original packaging and will be delivered to your doorstep or garage.

For safety reasons, our delivery team does not connect or install appliances to natural gas, propane, or electrical services. Any required connections should be completed by a qualified installer.

Delivery Fees

All products are delivered from our Hanover warehouse by Smitty's own delivery team, ensuring the quality, care, and service we're known for. Delivery fees, outlined below, may vary depending on your location.
